DOMES
Nothing much... Just now I only had one lecture in the morning.. Then had clinical coaching at PA Hospital later in the afternoon for 2 hrs.. Did about 20 minutes of practising History-taking & GIT examination and off we went to see a patient. Not gonna say much about the patient coz it's strictly confidential!! hehe.. Anyway, we just did the GIT examination coz we didn't have much time as we had to leave off for some 'Electives' session at Uni. The CC was interesting though and I hope I get better at it..
.
Oh yea as promised I'll add another mnemonic for today.. I got this from a friend of mine who got it from a friend of hers who got it from a book. Haha- Robbins that is. Here it is... To remember the types of diarrhoea (relevant to last week's case), remember DOMES (yeah as in the coffee shop at the Mall) --> D-deranged, O-osmotic, M-malabsorptive, E-exudative, S-secretory.
.
Btw, for the first time I finished my LO early! I went on researching for the subject on the day I was assigned the LO itself & finished it up this morning just before noon. At least now I don't have that LO thingy bothering me before this coming Thursday's PBL. And I hope this will give me some valuable period of self-study.

this VINDICATE thing is really helpful for case's hypothesis...
