Po-tay-toe, po-ta-to

That's what I had for dinner. Since I had all the time in the world, I decided to make a simple baked potato. Hehe. Very ambitious. The result didn't turn out that bad considering it's the first time I made it. Here's how I made it if you are that curious. It's this simple. What I had was the type of potato which have some dirt outside of it (don't know the name). First I washed it thoroughly scrubbing off the dirt, then sapu-ed with some olive oil and sprinkled with a pint of salt. Oh yeah, before doing that, I preheated the oven to just over 150 deg C. Then with a fork, I cucuk2ed the potato all over. Half-covered the potato with aluminium foil and let it cooked in the oven for around 90 minutes or until I thought it was cooked. Can't remember.. Depends.. Once the potato's cooked (the signs I thought would indicate it was cooked: turns brownish, texture gets softer if you poke with a fork and skin looks dry), I took it out and cut into quarters. I placed some margarine, sprinkled some black pepper granules and a lot of cheese.. ( I went for Mozarella but ppl usually use cheddar). I sort of re-heated the baked potato back again into the oven or even the microwave just to melt the cheese and margarine. After all that, voila! my baked potato was served.. Sadly, I only had that alone. Could've eaten it with some veggies and chicken..

Note: This is not an original recipe. I stole it somewhere from the net but modified just a bit according to my taste. Try it, you can do it too!
