Not sleepy

I can't sleep...That's because I slept in the morn, woke up, then slept again til it was time to have my Patho prac. Everybody seems to be in their study/revision mode since every1 in the house except for me are taking repro. I think the test is on Wed. Well, I did some revision as well for anat, intrasemester spotter is like in a week or so...but I did really LITTLE revision.. After Patho prac, I was stuck watching TV, show after show until 10..This rarely happens to me here..I don't watch that much TV here.. Then I went online...occasionally reading some notes.. At around 12 I got into bed but my eyes just couldn't shut. Switched on again my laptop and now doing this as well as downloading more drama series-latest desperate housewives. I was like planning maybe I shouldn't sleep so that I won't miss my early lectures in the morn but probly that won't happen. I'll try my best to wake up in time.. Hmm..oh yea I just remembered that Champ League Quarter Finals is on later. My team's playing! Yay... Arsenal vs Juventus..and it's at 6.30 later on SBS. Wouldn't want to miss this.. I guess I better get a short rest and hopefully will not oversleep and miss everything...-champ league & lectures. K then, I better head to bed and force myself to sleep...Chao

Friday night out

Yes! It's the weekend! Relaxing time... That's why I decided to go to the city last night. Just wanna chill...Went with some of the girls. Azim opted not to join. My guess is probably he wanted to study for his repro test next week and I also heard that he was trying to limit spending. Furthermore, his sister and niece is coming tonight..OK moving on, we ate at Satay Club last night, had Indy mee (u noe, mee mamak as they call it in Brunei). I ordered for the medium hot but it wasn't hot at all, just plain sweet..So eventually I was not satisfied with the food.. Then we went to Starbucks (1st time here) and asked for a tall frappucino mocha. Yum~ The place was constantly packed with people that there wasn't any place for us to sit. Then I just came up with the idea to watch a movie since we had nothing much to do. So we just went for a stroll around the cinema area since I wanted to check out what movies they were showing. I managed to convince Leah & Farah to join me watch a movie while Yil & Ehsan chose to go back. There was one movie Leah mentioned a while ago called 'Hostel' and at that night it was showing at 8.45. We chose this lah.. We had NO IDEA what this movie would portray except for the fact it's gonna be gruesome. Haha almost 50% of the movie is made up of 'V.A.N' content. At that moment I just felt sorry for Farah & Leah who had to endure watching all this hahaha...Then only in the 2nd half was when the storyline started to become obvious and it was also the starting point of all torture scenes-really gruesome and disgusting. Scary too.. Overall it was an OK movie for me. Can say worth it. Only $6.50 (initially I thought it was $10+, coz that cinema guy said so) just like in South Bank. So that night just before I go to sleep I watched some late commonwealth games report on TV just to drain out all the eery scenes out of my head and put me into reality. It turned out fine :D. Right, I'm tired now. Cya~

Lookin' good..

Lookin' better.. ;p

No more fans??

No updates from me these past few days. There's nothing much really going on in a new week. Just more assignments piling up but let's not talk about that. Then what should I talk about? Hmm..Let me see... Oh yea, in my previous entry I did mention about my mini-fan which has broken down and not 'useable' anymore.. Even THEY made fun of it..you guys know who you are..Poor mini fan. Anyway, speaking of this I went to Toowong village on Monday during my free slots in search of a standing fan (like the one similar to Azim's & Farah's). I went to K-mart and to my dismay they were sold out! I ended up buying other stuff taking all the time I wanted, so much of money flowing somewhere else.. I then bought a chicken Kebab but didn't eat there since it was almost 1 and I had to get ready for my viro pra,c. So the night, I slept without a fan, and my window completely open but with only stale air, I was like sweating profusely the whole time in bed.
The next day, on Tuesday, I thought that I should try out at Indooroo. They have more shops there like Target, K-mart, Harvey Norman etc. Guess what? The same thing happened. No fans! Even Harvey Norman! Err..there is one but the really expensive type and it's the only one left! It's probably a seasonal thing...Everyone is after fans...They, the shops, should really think of providing enough stock all-year round. Right, so again I strolled around the mall looking for 'other stuff' buying Boost's Watermelon crush this time and had another kebab-beef this time (still not sick of them hehe). So till today I still haven't got a new fan. But on the bright side, the weather seems to get colder with chill winds blowing. At least it's not hot anymore!

Exhausting Sunday

I'm gonna make it short as possible coz I'm really2 tired. Could still feel the effects of the race yesterday. Plus I slept late last night but had to wake up early this morn to catch the 8am bus. We had our BSS BBQ at South Bank. So early this morn went there to carry all the marinated chicken to SB using citycat. The ferry was going really slow...Zzzz...Then Damit, Fariz, Farah, Aimi and I had to go back to get some stuff with us particularly to get the drinks from the McQ's and to buy some ice. Back at SB the BBQ went on well and there was a reasonable number of people who turned up. And the food was not that bad either, it was good and enough for all of us. Then just before we ended the BBQ at around 6, we played a game of frisbee blocking the pathway for people to pass haha. We actually dominated the area haha.. My team lost the game :(, was a tight one hehe..Revenge next time eh.. So when the BBQ ended, we (the biomeds) stopped by a pool and did some leg-dipping for a while. The water was cool...Wished could stay there longer but wouldn't want to risk to get a citycat. If we missed, it would be like half an hour or even an hour to wait. Now back at home, I'm feeling really2 exhausted. I feel like sleeping straight away but I can't. Must have my shower and print notes before I sleep. Knowing that there are three early lectures in a row tomorrow just makes my day feel worse. And I just found out that my mini fan is not working anymore! Darn~Sigh.. I guess I better stop here..Need to do some things..Cya..

Somewhat called The Amazing Race

My team-the green team A

Based on the title..you'll know what I'll be talking about. Yea, today (18/3) I entered this Aussie I'national Friendship Prog (AIFP) Amazing Race along with some other biomed mates plus two other Bruneians. Little did I know that my team was gonna win! Hehe! Started like this, Damit initially brought about all this and I decided to join. My team was basically made up of Azim and two Californian girls who is just in their first semester here. Btw, among the tasks we performed was eating a cup of chilli powder. It was a detour and Azim and I actually opted for the chilli one since we thought it would be a quicker way. It was indeed quick. After we finished that, we dashed off to the rail station and luckily were in time. But another team also made it-Amal n Farah hehe. The other clue was also a detour-either skipping (all members) or read out scripts with passion and enthusiasm at Roma street. We ofcourse chose the latter since it was easier although a lil bit further. At that time, I couldn't run, I was weak, my stomach couldn't hold much longer, I was left behind my team mates.. and I actually puked chilli! Yea disgusting...but I caught up nonetheless. Elisa, the American girl actually shouted to me, "Come on Khai, u're holding us down." I was on the verge of giving up but couldn't possibly let that happen. I carried on, but walking.. Then we headed to South Bank via South Brisbane station to the Arts gallery. The place was actually awesome, I really need to got there sometime. Then we walked along the south bank pathway to the other end where the beach was..Again I was left far behind. My face was red and full of sweat. I could feel the chilli trying to escape my mouth. Finally it did. I sat down looking a bit lost and vomitted at the side. People were like passing by and looking but I didn't care. Needed to get that lot out of me. So when I reached the beach, the rest had already finished their sandcastle task and got a picture clue. While they put on their shoes, I walked around to ask where the place on the pic is. The pic was a small replica of a light house..It was right at the end near a bridge. Off we went there and received the next clue which was at botanical gardens. The person in charge was not there so we waited like 5 minutes before they were there. Luckily the instruments for the task was not there yet so we did an easy birthday song. Next dashed off for scavenger hunt in city...Then we used the train to go to China town. The detour was to either make 6 origamis or search for the shop who sells the food written in Mandarin. I saw this Chinese girl in the train and asked her. Did help a little. To cut the story short we found the place rather quickly. The next one was to go back to UQ. Unfortunately this time we had to wait for the train for ten minutes. And to our frustration another team caught up. Ofcourse we used the same train but we cleverly get ourselves into the compartment closest to the exit in Toowong. When we reached Toowong, we ran to the bus stop. The bus was already there but we made it fortunately. phew~ There's this girl from the other team who actually sprinted ahead of the bus... CRAZY! We thought that by this time it would be a neck to neck race. A very tight one. So both teams were close to the doors. When we got there I actually sprinted ahead of the bunch but then this guy really overtook me. As it shows, I'm not that fit. Even Elisa and two other girls overtook. One actually looked back at me calling me 'a loser' hahaha...It's a good thing they got ahead coz they went the WRONG way! haha...(we were suppose to go to building 32 and find a clue under the seats in one room). So Elisa found the clue and the four of us already exhausted made to the finish line! The first team!!! Weeha! Got a golden ticket cinema thing..Not much but worth it. Was a great experience.. Especially when you're a fan of the real show, it is just great just to do something similar. I even got to go to places I haven't been to..like the Roma street parklands and arts centre etc. I will cherish this moment...waseh~haha..Just wished that someone took photos of us racing coz we didn't get the time to take pictures. Now that the explorace is coming up at least there are some ideas we can use..Somehow I'm just lazy to be part of the organiser...I'd rather be the player. hehe...ryt cya~

One of the detour tasks- I did the 'Juliet' part..Haha..

Tired...

Haiyo....Didn't manage to keep the continuous blogging~ Too tired these past few days. Today, actually just now (16/3) we had another b'day party. This time is Yil's birthday. As usual, we made a tribute video just like Amal but for this one the concept is different. We named the video 'I wanna be Yil' coz the whole thing was about imitating Yil. And we also added some dedications by each of us but with different people lip sync-ing. It was hilarious just to watch one by one acting out their parts. Btw, we wore bright coloured clothingto the 'occasion'-yellow, orange, green, pink. Really blends very well with everyone. Definitely had a great time. And yes very tiring. I barely got enough sleep. Slept at 5am & too tired to attend the earlier cardio lectures which reminds me of getting the notes of other people especially Nurul. I heard she jotted down a lot. I mean a LOT. Updates on AI? Hmm...I enjoyed Taylor Hicks performance for yhis top 12, by far the best IMO. He really sings from his soul with that unique jerky dance of his. I like Katharine but she did not do as great as I expected but then the judges liked it. Nurul's rooting for Chris who gets compliments from week to week but to me that guy is somewhat plain, I don't see any interesting- the IT factor as the judges would say. We'll just have to wait, watch and see... Btw the results came out few hours ago- Ace, Lisa & Melissa in the bottom 3. Unfortunately Melissa is out. She possesses one of the unique husky voices but I guess the screwing up with the lyrics thing cost her the elimination. Right that's about it. Cya...

Yea..Whatever

I don't really feel like making an entry for today. But still I have to...I wanna see how many days of continuous blogging I can afford to do whether the posts suck or not. Today I had my cardio meeting (for the essay) at my place with my group. Just brainstormed and throw out ideas on the headings. Something did happen today but I choose to remain it undisclosed. After that had patho prac in the evening. Was so sleepy coz it was a prac combined with lectures. The lights were closed everytime we get to the lecture part. I hardly listened and I thought I actually slept for about a 20 seconds at one point. Now, I'm watching the latest episode of the Desperate Housewives. Been weeks since the last episode..I had to wait for weeks! Oh yea..there's this lecturer of mine for Virology whose name is Paul Young. I was like, this is a familiar name but never once that desperate house crossed my mind. Only after I watch this show (now) that I realised that my lecturer's name is actually the same as one of the characters in the tv show. Paul Young, the 'father' of Zac. Haiya~ So lame...No wonder the name sounds so familiar.. Haha...Yea whatever~

Another birthday

All blacks ganging up
'Stand out' Birthday girl in pink

Happy 21st birthday to Amalia... And a job well done to all actors and actresses for making the tribute video for Amal a success.. Had so much fun doing it and I still can't believe that I did that M.O. thing..hahaha...Just wanna kick that guy out of the video hahaha. Everybody actually had some funny elements in their respective acting scences. Actually enjoyed the video. We watched it at McQ but before that we ate at Ehsan's...Nice food, simple but nice. Once again Happy Birthday Amal..Hope you had a blast tonight!
Other than this evening, got nothing much. Just lectures in the morning. I woke up at 8 sharp and got to the patho lecture 20 min late. All becoz of staying up late til 2am to actually finish up the video. But at least I didn't miss the whole thing. Today's lectures were actually ok. I could understand and get the grasp of anything explained for all the three lectures. This wasn't the case for last week where I find it confusing and sometimes difficult to understand. Really annoying when that happens. Hmm..The viro prac this week was also not that bad. Just did those genetics stuff we did in Brunei but this one involved viruses (duh~). All that plasmid DNA, PCRs etc but we mainly did on running the gel today and the western blotting dadida...And yeah we finished on time, not like last week.. By then tired lah...K, that's all..Sayonara~

Happy Birthday~

Hey there again.. First of all I would like to say a very happy birthday to my mother back in Brunei. Happy b'day Mak! Hehe even though she's not reading this. She turns 50 today.. Half a century already..Is that golden jubilee? haha.. Nah..she still looks young..echewah~ hehe bah enough.
This morning I woke up really early like at 5 even though I slept at past 1. Had my subuh prayer then stayed up to watch one episode of my downloaded dramas til about almost 7. Today also turned out to be my turn on the duty list for cleaning the house along with damit. He was also awake by then. All that done by 9 but I continued to tidy up my messy room. With nothing to do after that, I thought I should go to china town to buy some chicken breasts and minced meat. Met Ehsan and Farah along the way to Toowong before going separate ways. But to my disappointment, the rail service has been put on halt due to some congestion somewhere I don't really know..So that spoilt my whole plan. I stayed in Toowong, bought some veggies, fruits, donut, boost juice, indomie and also prawns and calamaries. I didn't care about the price so much, all I can think of is that I needed to get some seafood.. Bought a Joy card, thought of calling my mother on her cellphone since at that time they were celebrating her b'day at RBC ( I wish I could be there as well :(). But as I called, my Brunei phone rang...They ended up calling me. Chatted with each and every member of my family..Kinda miss them...
Well, back at home we just did our own stuff, then by 4+ off we went to play frisbee at Guyatt park. Altogether we did 4 sports in a week..So much of trying to be a sportsman.haha.. It was really fun and satisfying considering this is the first time I played an actual frisbee game. This is the end of what I consider a sports week and I'm really starting to feel all tired. Just hope I can start tomorrow fresh. Back to lectures and pracs..Sigh~ Right enough said for today but something just crossed my mind. Hmm..who's birthday is coming up ah? Hehe..You know who you are..Happy B'day~

Now netball??

The last post I wrote was supposed to be for on Friday but I posted it late at around 1+ in the morn I think. So therefore I'm gonna post this one earlier. I don't wanna write this later than usual when I'm like by then half-asleep. This morning I woke up a bit late. It was a sudden wake-up since I needed to go to the post office. Azim and me wanted to send some birthday gift/card back to Brunei. Tomorrow's Mak's birthday...I wonder what my siblings would buy for her. There's just no update news on the gift. And I'm just curious what b'day cake they're gonna get for her. Sorry to mention this, but I really love the Tiramisu Cheese cake. Sia-sia pun. If I had known that the normal air-mail would take around 2 weeks to arrive Brunei, I could've sent earlier. I mean just for a small card (and light as well) it costs around $16 for the express one which arrives in 3-4 days (I thought it would be in 1 or 2 days). So money-wise, it was a hard decision to make at that spot in front of the counter. Without much thinking, I opted for the normal one since I thought it was not worth it coz it would either way also arrive after her b'day. If it was like $5, I would'nt actually mind..
At 1pm, Damit, Azim and I arrived first at Aimi's place for the BSS meeting. We had to wait until 2 before the whole meeting actually took place. There were many stuffs to discuss about and only ended at 4+. I just hope all the events we actually proposed and planned would turn out smooth. Then at around 5 guess what? We played netball! Yes the guys as well..We didn't care whether it's an all girl sports or not. Coz it's not anymore...OZ guys actually play it. It was a great game we played with the senior team + Aimi BSS. Initially I thought of playing a little so I just wore my thongs (the slipper :p). During the game I injured my toe, it was bleeding but not that bad. Next time I will wear my sports shoes. That's if I'm gonna play again. I would probably will..we'll see... :D.
Nothing much for tonight...I ate roti talur and mee mamee coz I was so damn hungry. I'm drying myself from the sweat as I'm typing this. Later gonna take a shower and 'treat' my injury. Then after that I would probably watch some OC if I don't fall asleep. On the other hand, I would probably do some reviewing of notes that I have left unread. Oh yea, I've set Saturday as a free day so I should stick to no uni work. Right, that's about it. Til tomorrow...

Today & Sandwich Recipe

Somehow I feel so lazy to post a blog but then still doing it. I am really sleepy ryt now and tired. I'm gonna sleep ryt after I finish this. This morning had two lectures only then went home ate fried rice and did laundry since nobody was using the washing machine. Need I say all this? Haha...Nvm just to fill in my post for today. After the Fri prayer straight to the city to meet up with Yil and Leah. Leah was trying to find a new printer coz her previous one 'rosak.' It's probably still working but yea..nobody's trying to fix it :s I was there first so I went around and bought some stuff but my main intention was to get a reasonably-priced tennis racquet coz we were gonna play tennis at 4. I ended up late at the tennis court about 15-20 minutes before the court was gonna be used by somebody else. Played wt amal, ran, damit and azim.. So since I came late, I only got 15min of play time. So not that satisfied, need to play some more! hehe... As we were leaving the court the rest of the girls then turned up, in their sports attire. Too late ladies~ They turned their direction and we were about to go back home. But we didn't. We wanted more... Instead, we went straight to Uq sports centre to play a game of squash til 6.30. That was tiring...and in the evening played board games at McQuarries.. Fridays are usually the day/night of having fun, feel free, relieve your tension and be crazy..hehe
Tonight I didn't eat heavy, just sandwiches. I got this recipe from my eldest sis Manja. Thanks Kak, bepakai jua ;). If you guys wanna try out I can share with you the recipe. It's relatively simple. I bought all the stuff already earlier so that I would only have to make it whenever I want to. So here's how you make it. You get a can of tuna, just the plain one for typical sandwiches and not the chunked ones, also get a can of corn kernels (not sweet corn), a lemon, mayonnaise and ofcoz bread. How to make the spread? Easy. Just strain your tuna if it's stored in liquid and add with the corn kernels (also strained the corn coz in liquid too). Get your lemon, cut into half and squeeze the half-lemon onto the tuna+corn to your taste. The last bit is to add two to three table spoons of mayo and mix them altogether. Now you should have your spread.. What else? Go and get your bread and make the sandwich! Yummy!

Untitled 1

Yeay...As I thought it would turn out..Arsenal indeed won..and progressed through to the quarter finals.. Waving the England flag and leaving the rest of the English teams (Man U, Chelsea & Liverpool) in despair wahaha...Live on Arsenal...
Haha ok.. There's nothing much I can say for today.. This is what you get when you consider this thing as a daily blog. But it's also interesting just to read back and recall what you did in your past everyday life. There would be some great and happy moments that you could cherish when you read your own blog again. Well, not to mention the sad moments..if you do blog it down, well tough luck, you just gotta feel the misery, sadness and pain again. That's what makes life so colourful...LOL Am I making sense? Maybe not. Just lost a computer football tag team game to Ran & Damit..Was in a team wt SZ...Wah..he so serious one when come into games..Freaky..Haha.. Somehow I feel so lazy tonight..Probably because the weekend is near..but I still have to and must review coz really, most of the lectures today I coudn't get a grasp of what the lecturers were trying to explain. I tend to leave the review to the next day or Sunday. I have the feeling it's gonna happen to tonight's review as well :) Oh yeah, I saw this Damit's skipping rope with a counter..(never actually seen that type before) so I borrowed from him to try out some reps...I only reached 80+ non stop..and already sweating... It was cool, gonna skip again next time hehe.. Tomorrow's a Friday..first lecture at 9 so not bad...and only 2 lectures. Don't really know what's the plan for tomorrow. Maybe tennis or just jogging or none..We'll see how it goes..Cya~

Busy lo~

Today was unlike yesterday..Had a long & tiring one...With a double lecture and a double practical (frog and cadaver dissections..dissections sja!) all continuous from 8 to 3. If there was to be an Anat tute after that then that would be 4. And again if there was to be a Patho tute that would continue at 6. By then, I'm gonna be hating wednesdays..hehe. So this morning, I woke up early to watch the Champs league. Only watched first half coz got lecture as I mentioned at 8. I'm just satisfied to hear that Barca made it through and not Chelsea...Phew~ Then after the long day at Uni, went back home for a while and had mee goreng perisa Satay before leaving off to playing squash with Yil, Leah and Azim at the UQ sport centre. It was refreshing to be able to play squash again after so long and we had fun as well. Winning wasn't that important at that time :p, it's just being able to play again makes you feel good. We got to move around quite a lot...releasing all the sweat.. So guys....when lagi? hehe... Maybe we'll have more newcomers.. I also want to try out Tennis. although I'm not a big fan of the professional Tennis on tv. Seems fun to play but not enjoyable to watch (sorry tennis fans no offence haha :p). Maybe Ran will organise that one.. Tomorrow not much, just that I have to wake up like just now to watch the Arsenal match. Can't afford to miss that one. I might even skip the first hour of lectures..It's the only chance for the gunners to get a silverware this season. I'm supporting them all the way! Go Arsenal! Ryt I'll stop there..
Arsenal all the way!

More updates..

Today is also one of the days which I'm kinda 'free.' Just one biomed anat lecture this morning and a patho prac at 5 just now. And oh yea..finally I managed to book a squash court for tomorrow afternoon at 4.30. I mean I called the UQ Sports centre several times before this and there was hardly any free court available so I figured going there and checking out was probably better. Therefore, I'm looking forward to playing tomorrow..It's been a while since I last played. So far, only Yil and Leah are joining but the others may also probably join. So there.. nothing much. It's funny that I'm feeling exceptionally tired today. It's probably the heat, it's killing me.. which reminds me whether to get a new fan from Toowong or just buy second hand from SZ (his fan is unused as I see it in Mcquarie Girls' garage). Hmm... tomorrow is gonna be a busy day, from 8am to 3pm..(2 pracs, sigh~). Need to sleep early tonight coz early tomorrow morning, the Champions League round of 16 resumes and is gonna be played on SBS.. one of them... Barcelona vs Chelsea. It's the second leg and should be the 'big' game. I mean both of the teams are at the top of their respective premierships by a mile. I'm definitely gonna be rooting for Barca (and so is Fau I presume..hehe). On Thursday morning, will then be my team's turn (Arsenal) against Real Madrid. And that's what I'll be most looking forward to..Need a win! Yes, a win! Ryt, I'm going on too much.. I'll continue tomorrow then. Nyt peeps.

For the better..

'Always Review' a constant reminder

Now that it's my second last semester before I graduate, I've made some small changes to help me improve on my study habits. I realize that it's not that the exams were THAT difficult. It's just that some of them were not well understood yet and when we revise at the last minute even though you’ve read it all, you wouldn’t remember all unless you have really good memory retention. So therefore I've put in some effort to constantly review my notes from time to time i.e. every night. I've set Saturday as my free day and no reviewing or studying should be made, totally free of uni stuff. Well, except if there are assignments to be submitted. As you can see in the picture, I’ve made a label saying ‘ALWAYS REVIEW.’ Very clearly highlighted and outlined so that I can easily be reminded. Having said all this, I think I better get started with my reviews :p.

All about this Sunday

It's Sunday and yet no sun..hehe what's that suppose to mean? Did nothing much apart from cleaning my room a bit, had my unwashed laundry done (bought a new bath towel so had to wash that as well) and had brunch. Then as usual browsed through the internet, checked my friendster which I don't even bother to update yet. And I had the chance to chat with my bro in Brunei. Last night, he and his gf CT plus my lil sis Zirah and some cousins went to JP to watch the final Bands Explosion rock singing competition & support my cuzs' group 'Undergrip'. Apparently, renowned rock Msian artistes like Ramli Sarip and Man Kidal were also there as special guests to perform. Now back to the competition. I recalled asking my cousin just the night before I left for Brissy that what songs they were going to perform. One of them is 'Sunday Morning' by 'No Doubt.' I thought it was a good choice and jokingly 'advised' them to 'bawa lumpat2 ah nyanyinya ah..' Hehe.. Coz really, I admire this song ever since Ehsan told me which group sang this when I first heard it. Really catchy and energetic. From the news my bro gave me, they did not manage to make it top three after the finals. My bro said many of the groups were great and competitive so it was kinda tough I guess. Nonetheless I congratulate them for their effort into reaching the finals. Congrats guys!

Right..what else..Oh yea, for the 1st time this semester, I did my jogging this arvo (aussie slang for afternoon hehe). The weather was dry but fairly dull/dark. I jogged from around the back of UQ area along the river banks til Guyatt Park. Some increased distance achieved. And then back again to my place. Did that for about an hour and a half. I must say I'm not that fit since 60% was done walking! No worries, that shows that there's still more room for improvement. Hmm..Then got back, prayed and had shower. And then what? Ate fish and chips with Leah, Azim and YiL. I was like thinking, what's the use of jogging and then filling yourself with fatty food after that? Well, Leah argued that at least it's better than just waking up and eat haha..There's a point there..But then, we shouldn't always be doing this. Avoiding eating outside helps us physically and financially.. If you get what I mean..If you don't, what the heck..hehe.. :S So that's all about this Sunday. Alright, adios..

The bird which was making this weird 'talking' as I jogged

Simple

I like this picture.."Simple.." I took this picture during the first month since I arrived in Brisbane. Fascinating..You don't get to see this back home. In case you still have no idea what the picture is, it's a writing in the sky made by smoke from the jets :p. Everytime I see this picture, it wills always remind me of not making things complicated and just to keep it simple. Haha yea ryt~ But it's true!

Little something to talk about

What's up with today? Well, the ten of us biomed buddies went grocery-shopping in the morning at Brunswick street (china town). Then went back, rest for a while. Later in the afternoon, Leah, Azim and Me went off to the city to make the clues for the Explorace. Wait, I think I should stop there. Wouldn't write an account of what we did just now or else you guys out there would know! hehe..So maybe I should skip that up to when we went to Nandos to feed our hungry stomachs. We actually came over late- few minutes past five, when in fact it was supposed to be closed already but nonetheless many people were still coming. We ate, talked and talked til we realised we were the last ones to leave. Got back like around 6+. So basically that was my Saturday. Oh yea, just to mention this, today's weather turned out better. Could've use the dry weather for jogging, but walking around the city for hours is more or less the same :).
Apart from that, what else can I say. Right! The LOST series! Too bad there's nobody I can discuss/talk to about this show. So I guess I'll just write it in here. Haha. Last night I watched the latest episode (ep 15) I downloaded earlier in the week. And to tell you, I'm salivating for more! The story plot is getting interesting..The mystery of the whole show is slowly opening wide through its storyline. A plot path galore! The interesting thing about this show is that there's always something we can anticipate about. Episode after episode. You're just curious to watch more. I remember the last time in the first season back in Brunei where all my siblings would always be right on time on Thursday nights to watch this newly introduced (back then) drama series. Guess what? I wasn't that interested. In fact I only watched the first few and never bothered to watch again. Now I see it the other way round! I'm actually fanatic about it. Hehe you guys must be tired of me talking about this..Actually I wanted to say more about Ep 15 but I guess I'll do it next time..For now just the intro part of it. Ayt, chao.
My favourite opening of the show

Hello? Anyone there?

Testing testing 1 2 3.... Hellllo ppl....Aaaa....I'm breathing that blogging air again..haha...Still thinking whether to continue blogging or not..Everyone seems to have/do one..I think I've said this before when I first started but after a while everyone seemed to go into hibernation and now back to square 1. Last time I find blogging quite interesting, but somehow got myself lose in interest. Alright, how should I start..yea as Leah mentioned, it's a new semester in Brisbane..Yees...I am back here.. after 3 months of worthwhile holz back at home. I've set some goals for me to reach just like everybody else. This semester I have to study smarter, get better results, no more procrastinating (although I see it coming..hehe), watch less tv (good thing OZ progs are boring), do some sports & jog regularly so that I can lose that extra stubborn thing inside my belly haha, eat healthy (this will take a while), and not to miss Subuh prayer so that my parents won't have to keep reminding me everytime haha. Those I mentioned are also some of my parents' expectations...For my own good...I won't say it's impossible or anything, I would say it's ALMOST impossible..haha..no lah..Just need to made some transitions and changes with myself and I'm sure I can make it. It's just a good stepping stone before getting into medicine. Alrighty, I think I just did a long post tonight..Not bad huh..Good thing tomorrow is Saturday..Gona do grocery shopping coz there's practically nothing at home..and probably go to city after that to gain extra ideas in making the explorace clues..To those non-BSS guys...don't tail us around..! Hehe..bah Iim watching LOST ni..Cya~
